A national leader in pediatric education, Dr. Carlton has extensive experience in simulation-based training, community education programs, and professional development initiatives. She has created national continuing education programs, hosted national podcasts, and held multiple state-level leadership roles with the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP). Dr. Carlton currently serves on NAPNAP’s National Education Strategy Committee and as a section editor for the upcoming AACN Pediatric Procedure Manual. She is passionate about advancing innovation, professional development, and the integration of AI to improve outcomes for children and families
